Prompt guide
Make one controlled change at a time
Reliable editing prompts name the exact change and repeat the invariants: identity, pose, geometry, lighting, framing, or product details. The examples here were created as real before-and-after edits.
State the edit in one sentence
Lead with the exact transformation: change a jacket, replace a background, restyle packaging, alter the weather, or convert a material. A narrow request gives the model a clear editing target.
Repeat what must remain unchanged
Preservation instructions are as important as the edit. For people, protect identity, face, hair, pose, and proportions. For products, protect shape, camera angle, placement, and recognizable design details.
Judge the result as a pair
A beautiful output is not automatically a successful edit. Compare before and after for unintended changes, then tighten the prompt around any detail that drifted before generating another variation.
How do I keep the original person consistent?
State that identity, face, hair, expression, pose, body proportions, and camera angle must remain unchanged.
Why do precise edit prompts work better?
Limiting the requested change reduces drift and gives the model a clearer preservation target.
